Bathroom Supply & Installation

Prices are open to acceptance up to 30 days from date of quote. Once an estimate has been accepted, any changes or additions will be subject to a price review. Dates given for commencement of work are approximate only. Whilst every effort will be made to keep to a given date, work can sometimes be delayed. The client will be notified near the expected date.

 

All labour carried out is guaranteed for 365 days from date of completion and warranty for installation is provided by your appointed installer. All materials used are guaranteed as per manufactures warranty.
Unfortunately, no guarantee will be given on materials if they are not supplied by Bath & Tile. We only supply quality materials from well-known brands that we are used to dealing with.


Bath & Tile reserves the right to withdraw from site if the contract payment schedule is not adhered to. Title and ownership of the materials and equipment will not pass to the client until payment has been made. Any materials can be recoverable by Bath & Tile in the event of non-payment. The client agrees to allow access to site for this purpose. By accepting the quote given by Bath & Tile the client is also accepting these Terms and Conditions. We cannot accept responsibility for wear and tear of tile grout and silicone as these are perishable products. Cancellation of work will incur loss of earnings charge of 25% of initial agreed values of works.


Payment Terms - Payment of materials total due on booking for the ordering of all your products, the payment for installation is paid on day of completion for installation labour and this is paid direct to the appointed installer. Method of payment is by either cash or credit/debit card. Paying by finance is available, please contact the office for details 01324 870953. Finance installation payment terms, please refer to your finance agreement. If payment if not received as outline above, the invoice will be adjusted to include interest payable at 3% per month above base rate.  Non-payment for goods and/or services as agreed will result in legal action as per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Scotland) Regulations 2002.

All materials supplied by Bath & Tile are guaranteed as per manufactures warranty.
By accepting the quote given by Bath & Tile the client is also accepting these Terms and Conditions.
Goods should be inspected on delivery for any damages, any damages should be reported immediately before installation as we cannot replace any damaged items if they have been fitted, send a picture of any damage in an email to bathandtile@hotmail.com. If you choose to use a Bath & Tile appointed installer, they will also inspect the goods.
Customer must have a skip on site for the installation. A skip is not included in the quote and should be supplied by the customer.
Due to the vibrations caused when removing existing bathroom suite and tiles. This can sometimes cause cracks in plaster and redecoration may be required by the customer in the event of this happening. 
Installations are priced on what can be visibly seen, if an underlying issue becomes apparent during installation that needs to be rectified before installation can proceed your appointed bathroom installer will notify you on the findings immediately and get you a cost to rectify the issue before we proceed. For example: the floorboards and joists are rotted and need to be replaced this would incur an additional cost for replacement materials and labour to install. 

It is vitally important that you open and inspect your products as soon as you receive them and report any damage to us within 14 days of receipt. Items that have been used, installed or made-to-order will not be accepted as damaged items.

Product warranties are covered by the manufacturer and any product warranty claims must be made via the manufacturer please view the product warranty below for your products. You will be required to register your warranty with the manufacturer within 30 days of installation.

Product Supply

Orders must be paid for before the order is released for deliver. Delivery dates are estimated and can sometimes change, it is important you don't schedule any installation work until your products have arrived and have been checked.

All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. All specifications given to the customer are approximate and intended as a guide only. We always try to ensure all product descriptions are correct, but advise customers to seek technical advice from qualified sources prior to ordering products and any work to be carried out.

Whilst we make every effort to reproduce the colours of the products correctly, slight variations may occur during the print and photography process.

Please note that certain products such as bathroom furniture may need some alteration to meet your specific requirements, such as pipework, space constraints and designs. Any such alterations are carried out at your own risk, and the resulting alterations may mean your product guarantee is no longer valid.

If you are purchasing tiles and borders, we advise you to buy them from the same range. The tiles may be sourced from different suppliers which may result in a slight variation in size and colour.

We reserve the right to make adjustments to the price of goods stated on the website from time to time to take account of any increase in our suppliers' prices or an increase in any taxes or duties.

All our products are covered by a standard guarantee that, on delivery and for a period of 1 year from delivery, the product(s) shall be free from material defects. This standard guarantee may only be enforced by the purchaser of the product(s) or, where this is a different person, the first end user of the product(s). This standard guarantee is non-transferable.

Whilst all our products pass strict quality standards, on very rare occasions you may find an item arrives damaged. Any damaged items must be reported withing 14 days. 

It is vitally important that you open and inspect your products as soon as you receive them and report any damage to us within 14 days of receipt. Items that have been used, installed or made-to-order will not be accepted as damaged items.

The quickest and easiest way to report damaged items within 14 days is online from Your Account. Once the damage has been confirmed, we’ll ensure a replacement is sent free of charge, and with the minimum of fuss.

In the case of tiles, it is not unusual to have a small proportion of the tile broken to some degree (e.g. chipped edges). These damaged tiles can be used for the cuts you will need to make. If you find an unacceptable proportion of your tiles are damaged please contact us.

 

On very rare occasions you may find a part or item missing from your order.

Please make sure you inspect your goods as soon as you receive them and let us know within 30 days of receipt if any part or items is missing, by contacting us and quoting your order reference. Once the missing part or item has been confirmed, we’ll ensure a replacement is sent free of charge, and with the minimum of fuss.

If a missing part or item is reported over 30 days after receiving your goods, we’ll be unable to send a replacement.

Product warranties are covered by the manufacturer and any product warranty claims must be made via the manufacturer please view the product warranty below for your products. You will be required to register your warranty with the manufacturer within 30 days of installation.

We are in receipt of your complaint and we will deal with it promptly, effectively and in a positive manner.

Bath & Tile Complaints Procedure 


1) We will acknowledge your complaint promptly within 5 working days of receipt.
 
2) We will investigate your complaint and endeavour to send a final response to you within 4 weeks of receipt of your complaint. If we are unable to provide you with a final response within this time we will send you an update. 
 
3) We will endeavour to send a final response to you within 8 weeks of receipt of your complaint. If we are unable to provide you with a final response within this time frame, we will write to you explaining why and advise you when you can expect a final response.
